這首歌是關於著一段感情，即便那並不是典型的浪漫愛情故事，也沒關係，因為無論如何，他們都會花時間去好好建立它，並且完全不在意與別人不同，因為外界的眼光並不重要。他們的關係就是Something Different。

關於Jack solo的部分，他解釋道:當一個女孩問我 “你為甚麼愛我?”和“你為甚麼在乎我?”這實在很難去解釋我對她的感覺 ，所以，"因為我就是感受到了 這所有的原因" "I’m just feeling all the reasons."
